Character I wish to portray: Afra (pronounced "Aff-rah", as in afro the hairstyle and Ra, the Sun.) It means "whitish-red" and refers to her orange hair.
Hero, Villain or Walking the Line? Mostly a Line-Walker, but never outright evil.
A brief history of the character: Though it is watered-down, Afra claims Gallifreyan heritage through her paternal great-grandfather, who was a very powerful and respected Time Lord and Chancellery Guard. Born in Cairo, Egypt, Sol: 3 (locally known as Earth), she was raised human and has quite a gift for tongues, speaking (and writing) English, Arabic, Latin, Gallifreyan, Greek and, to some extent, French. She has travelled most of the planet's surface and met a lot of the people living on it; frankly, she considers them stupid apes, though occasionally a human will surprise her with a moment of intellect and become her friend. Sadly, she has made just as many enemies.
Currently nineteen years of age (and posessing one heart, by the way), Afra has just arrived in London without the forethought (as usual) of getting a job or anywhere to live. With no money and no home, three hours after parking a motorbike that definately didn't belong to her somewhere in the streets of London, she encountered (to her great surprise) a silver stallion, his flanks speckled with white. After naming him Sa'Id (sah-eed), which is Arabic for lucky, Afra mounted her new steed and took him to a tackle shop, to the shock of the manager.
So, with a knack for taming animals (and stealing...well, pretty much anything), no job and no home, Afra found herself cantering along the streets towards the London Eye...
